There are several options available to access Barb data. The vast majority of Barb subscribers choose to access Barb data via a data bureau. These companies have created user friendly analytic systems and services. A list of the companies is here. As an independent company to Barb, there is a separate fee payable directly to the chosen bureau.
Barb has an API feed which is free to access for Barb subscribers. You will need software to be able to analyse the data.
There is also topline data available in the subscriber section of the Barb website which is updated on a weekly basis. Access to the subscriber section will be available with purchase of a full licence.
As part of our licence you may share Barb data with Broadcasters and Video-streaming services providers for content that is relevant to their services for the purposes of royalty audit verification.
Comparative data for services not owned by the Broadcaster or Video-streaming services provider cannot be shared.
The licence fee provided is the annual licence fee which is based on the calendar year.
If you would like to take a licence after January, the fee will be prorated to the first of the month in which the licence is active.
